At this level students identify any prior knowledge they have about the Inquiry topic.

A simple reflection task is involved whereby students are challenged to 'guess' what the topic could be all about.

Essential research skills around chosen Tune In Points for the Inquiry topic are undertaken from the Curiosity Discovery Chart.

Key topic words are identified and vocabulary extension is undertaken.

Gathering of relevant information via asking the 6 key question words on any Tune In Point selected from the Curiosity Discovery Chart.

Students are required to explain (in their own words) what they understand the Inquiry topic to be about in detail, This can be done via description detail and definitions.

Students are required to compose a reflective piece anticipating or predicting what they expect to learn more about.

Students will begin to establish connections (relationships/links) between key knowledge and form knowledge chains.

Linking of knowledge is formed via compare/contrast. sequencing, classification, analysis, or explaining causes.

Learners are required to produce a Venn diagram or diagram/chart to demonstrate the skills above.

At this level deep thinking reveals that the student can generalize, evaluate, pose a theory, make a prediction and create new ideas or offer solutions for an identified problem.

Students are required to compose an animated instructive digital presentation showing their 'thinking' journey so far.
